I am happy to perform for whichever part of the ceremony you wish and can also provide suggestions for what may be suitable.
A piper in highland dress at a wedding adds atmosphere to the occasion.
For your guidance, a typical wedding might follow as such;
Ceremony
- Firstly, the piper plays a few tunes as the guests arrive for 10-15 minutes.
- The piper can then play the Bridal party down the aisle. Depending on your arrangements, you may have your own music for this, in which case, then the piper can stand aside until the next part of the ceremony.
- The piper can then play during the signing of the register.
- Finally, the piper can play for the conclusion of the ceremony, whether it be the recessional, as the guests congratulate the bride and groom or to farewell the couple.
Reception
- Play for the arrival of the bride and groom at the reception. Bear in mind that if the reception is at a different location, further costs may be involved.
